Chrome 8 is now the stable version of Google’s lightweight web browser. Compared to Chrome 7, there are more than 800 bug fixes and stability improvements in Chrome 8, including support for Google’s upcoming web apps as well as a built-in PDF viewer. Chrome developers are working on several different branches of Chrome, with version 8.0.552.215 yesterday being upgraded to the stable version. Since Chrome has three development channels – stable, beta and developer preview – Chrome 8 will (for now) also populate the beta channel, and the 9.x branch will be the experimental version of the browser. A detailed changelog for the latest version of Chrome is available here (http://build.chromium.org/f/chromium/perf/dashboard/ui/changelog.html?url=/trunk/src&range=62249:58656&mode=html), and you can download Chrome 8 here (http://www.google.com/chrome). ———————————— This document has been copied from FAVOR.com.ua (https://favor.com.ua/en/blogs/3284.html).
