VIPOS is an ambitious brand with a strong 17-year - plus reputation in the Ukraine car market. Bentley and Spyker enthusiasts may see involvement of the brand VIPOS with their favorite autos. They can easily associate it with the VIPCAR, Ukraine's importer of Bentley Spyker cars. Although there is no similarity in names between Volkswagen and German Motors the latter, however, is directly related to its parent brand being the first and largest authorized dealer for Volkswagen AG in Ukraine. Pushed by the Ukrainians' desire to see Lamborghini cars in Ukraine and to enjoy the opportunity to buy them, VIPOS signed a new contract - with the Italian brand representatives. And has established the official dealer company Lamborghini-Kyiv. Motivated by a high demand in Ukraine for budget cars VIPOS acted as the founder of the OSTCAR company which will develop and implement joint projects intended to promote hi-tech Chinese vehicles to the Ukrainian market. For the lawyers’ assistance of automobile companies VIPOS established lawyers company VIPOS-PRAV. And, finally, VIPOS has built assembly factory - Automobile plant Vipos.

Today VIPOS brand is a group of companies that are interconnected among themselves and complement each other's strengths. It is a monolithic brand which unites both Ukraine's market - leaders- the «best in class» companies - and ambitious young firms which were formed on the basis of work teams of the parent companies. The VIPOS group is well placed to become one of the most recognized and respected brands, both here in Ukraine and worldwide. Of course, to that end each of us has to make even greater efforts: in fact, noble and magnificent aims are worth working hard to achieve them. The most important thing is keep progressing. The origin of the Company dates back to 1992 when Viktor Postelnikov and Nikolay Kovalchuk set up VIPOS Ltd. At first, the new company focused its activities on freight and logistics services and then started importing cars from abroad One of very profitable business directions was to form temporary creative teams within the framework of the Movement of scientific-technical creativity of youth. It allowed to keep highly skilled specialists from fleeing sinking scientific-research institutes and other structures inherited from the former USSR, to maintain the creativity of scientific schools, to develop competitive creative solutions which could be sold at market determined prices, without being forced to sell them at the prices dictated by the State which had quite a great impact yet on the business at that point in time. Operations in this direction lasted until 1995. Many of those with whom VIPOS had collaborated in the early 90’s later managed to set up their own businesses operating in the high tech sector One of the important achievements of the young company; that contributed to enhance its image and self-assurance, was the successful completion of a special order for development of a sophisticated high-tech system for the control and management of aviation power-generating units for the aerospace industry. This system was designed to serve the Russia's military - industrial complex. In the early 1990s the company made profitable and promising investments in tourism and in the boarding house «Zlatoust» - which is a genuine jewel on the southern coast of Crimea.

But the new company focused on cars and servicing which remained its key business activities. At that time, VIPOS and Volkswagen AG started comprehensive negotiations on the import and distribution of Volkswagen cars in our country. The negotiations were a complete success, as a result the German company became a long-term strategic partner of VIPOS and we continue being partners.

In 1998, thanks to its wide diversification of business, VIPOS successfully survived the financial crisis caused by the default. Like many others, our company suffered serious losses, but they were not fatal. And, as time has shown, the managerial experience, acquired during this difficult period, was an invaluable and very helpful one in providing us with further development. In addition, this ordeal showed once again the correctness of the adopted course to build up the enterprise involved in the real sector of the economy and operating its own assembly facilities.
