History
In 1997 Citi established a Representative Office in Ukraine. In 1998, Ukraine became the 100th country of Citi’s presence worldwide, in the form of a subsidiary wholly owned by U.S. shareholders, when the National (State) Bank of Ukraine granted Citi a full package of banking licenses authorizing Citi to conduct commercial banking operations in both local and foreign currencies. Citi Ukraine continues to pursue its mission to provide clients with the best products, most competitive solutions and the highest level of service and reliability.
